Students of the Month – December
The English
department is proud to announce our December Students of the month (this month
selected by Mrs. Thiegs and Mrs. Mahan)

Mrs. Thiegs’
December students:
Bella M. (10th
grade) – Bella
possesses a quiet leadership, an open heart, and an open mind. She excels in all of her writing assignments
from poetry, to narratives, to analysis, to research papers. She constantly shines on paper. In person, Bella is humble and soft spoken,
but she is always quick to smile and greet everyone with warmth and
friendliness. She shows her aptitude for
all things English related every day, and loves the challenge of making her
work even better through revisions. Her
creativity and kindness have been greatly appreciated.
Kat S. (11th
grade) – After having
Kat in Honors 10th grade English last year, Mrs. Thiegs feels
incredibly lucky to have Kat as a student again in her 11 CP English class. Kat showcases her individuality daily, and she
also LOVES to learn. She is a natural
leader and never turns down an opportunity to help a peer. All work that she does in English class is
creative, original, and thorough. She
also loves to hand everything in early.
Kat is truly a teacher’s dream come true.
