We here in the Social Studies
department are hard at work preparing for finals and the end of the year. For four of our students, the end of
this year has brought an exciting field trip as a result of winning the
Constitution Literacy Competition.
On May 3, 2013, the four
winners of Red Lion’s first annual Constitution Literacy Competition took their
tour of Washington D.C.. Aurora L,
Lucas C, Nick K, and William C were accompanied by Mr. Bull, and Mr. and Mrs.
Maris. The winners got a tour of the inside of the Capital where they got to
see the chambers and sit in the gallery. The Social Studies department looks forward to
seeing who will win the second annual CLC, and we would like to wish everyone
good luck on their finals.
