The Voice of the Lions says:

On Friday, Sept. 23rd the Lions hosted Kennard-Dale on our annual Hall of Fame Night. It was a busy night as Red Lion hosted not only its Hall of Fame ceremony, but also the Ronald Reagan Foundation Centennial Coin Toss and Congressman Todd Platts was there to flip the coin. Not only that, we also hosted WGAL-8's Football Friday in the commons area of the senior high school for a live broadcast after the game.

Once the game started it took the Lions a little bit to get going. Kennard-Dale scored first taking a 6 - 0 advantage, but that was pretty much all she wrote as the Lions ripped off 7 touchdowns over the course of the game and cruised to a 47 - 13 victory.

Scoring touchdowns for the Lions was Tanner Klinefelter who rushed for 2 and threw 1. Darrell Kendrick ran for 1. Jason Milton found the endzone on 3 of his carries. And Erik Althoff caught a touchdown pass.

Pete Pitilis was 5 of 7 on kicking extra points.

Erick Toscano recovered 3 fumbles for the Lions and Toscano was named the Apple Ford Player of the game for his defensive efforts.
