January English Students of the Month
All the way back in January, Ms. Suppa and Mrs. Yoder
selected students who they deemed the “students of the month” in their
respective English classes. The English
department would like to recognize these students for their amazing efforts in
English class!
Peyton (grade 12): Peyton
is an exceptional, hard-working student who always contributes in class with
thoughtful comments and articulate papers.
This talented and ambitious senior plans on attending Kutztown
University next year and majoring in Communications.
Brian (grade 12): Brian's wit and sense of humor are
matched only by his expansive range of random facts. This year he has shared a
few gems with us that I will treasure.
For example, guns did in fact exist during the Medieval Period and no,
female peacocks are not called peacocks but peahens. Brian and Peyton make class more interesting, and we will miss them very
much next year.
Mrs. Yoder's students of the month:
Kaitlyn (grade 9): Kaitlyn is a model student in English
class. She has a great attitude and is
always willing to participate in class discussions, lead small group
activities, and give her best effort each day.
Dillon (grade 9): Dillon has been an outstanding student
this year, earning a 100% for marking period 2 in English. He often participates in class, assists other
students in need, and always gives his best effort in and out of school.
