This Week in Red Lion Athletics...Girls Basketball The Girls Basketball team, coming off of a win against New Oxford Friday night (80-54), will visit Southwestern on Tuesday to take on the Lady Mustangs. On Friday, the team will go on the road again to take on the Lady Bulldogs of West York Area High School. Both games set to start at 7:30 PM.
Boys Basketball The Boys Basketball team is looking to play big teams for the YAIAA division this week. Tuesday they will take on Southwestern at home (7:30 PM). On Friday #1 ranked York High will visit Red Lion. Game set to start at 7:30 as well. The Boys team is coming off of last week’s wins versus Middletown and Spring Grove. Red Lion’s student section, also known as the “Zoo Crew”, will be there to rowdy on the team on both gamedays. Themes for this week include “Pajamas” (Tuesday) and “Tribal” (Friday).
Wrestling Red Lion Varsity Wrestling Team will look to compete against the Southwestern Mustangs on Wednesday night. Matches set to begin at 7:00 PM in the Fitzkee Athletic Center.
Swimming Wrestling and Basketball aren’t the only sports that will be competing for wins against Southwestern. In the pool this Thursday, the swimming team will take on the Mustangs as well. Event begins at 4:30 at home.
