Girls Basketball The Girls Basketball team hosted their own Tip-Off tournament this year to start the season. Beating McCaskey (70-39) on Day 1, the team went on to play Manheim Township on Day 2 in the Championship game who they beat 41-39, giving the Lady Lions the Tip-Off Tournament Crown. Tuesday night the girlâs pulled out with another big win against York Suburban with a final score of 61-30. Jenny Horvatinovic lead the team in scoring with 22 points. Tonight, the Lady Lions will play in the Fitzkee Center at 7:30 taking on the Susquehannock Warriors.
Upcoming: The annual Pink Game between our Lady Lions Basketball team and the Lady Dallastown Wildcats is this Tuesday, December 18th. As the two teams battle on the courts, the teams are joining their efforts off the court to raise money for cancer research. Boys Basketball Boys team traveled to the Gettysburg Tip-Off Tournament this year. The team won the first round, but came short in the Championship game against Gettysburg. The team traveled to West York this past Tuesday claiming the victory with a 56-48 win. Fox and Hutchinson lead the team in scoring with 29 and 18 points. The team will take on the Rams of Kennard Dale tomorrow night in the Fitzkee Center. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.
The boy's basketball team has their red game on January 25th against Central. Even though the game isn't until January you must order your shirts now, by December 21st. Student Council Members will be around in homeroom each day with order forms. Return your money and form to D108 by December 21st.
Wrestling Red Lion Varsity Wrestling Team Competed at the prestige 39th Annual Top Hat Tournament. The following wrestlers survived the grueling 19 man brackets to place: Tyler Schell 3rd, Austin Holloway 4th, Cody Stern 7th place.
Swimming Swimming took on New Oxford Thursday night. The boys swim team battled it out with the Colonials, leading to a victory of 86-84. The girls dominated the pool, claiming victory with a score of 112-58.
Cheerleading - Competition Cheerleaders have their first Competition this weekend at Central Dauphin East, Good luck girls!
