The Lions put it on the line tonight (Oct. 21st) when they host South Western for a York-Adams Division I match of undefeated (in league play teams). This is Homecoming 2011 and the homecoming queen will be crowned in festivities just before the game starting at approximately 6:40pm with kickoff at 7:00pm. This could possibly be the first of 3 championship type games for the Lions as the winner of this game will certainly be in the drivers seat and control it's own destiny as they drive for a league title. The Lions will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 26-20 league win over Central York and the emotional turmoil of one of their teammates being murdered in a senseless act of violence just two weeks ago. Just like the Lions the Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
Also, congratulations again to quarterback Tanner Klinefelter who set another Lions record by taking over the career passing attempts record previously held by Taylor Green at 418. Tanner now sits at 436 career passing attempts and counting.
